Design:
Entrance holes and other dimensions are correct for both the Western Bluebird and the Mountain Bluebird.
Wooden predator guard is standard on each bluebird house. The extra thickness on the entrance hole keeps starlings, squirrels and other predators out, while the small floor discourages sparrow nests.
Measures 12-1/2" high by 6-3/4" wide by 9" deep.
Overhanging roof protects the portal from rain and snow while the slope of the roof prevents water from pooling on top.
Pine will weather and darken to a shade of gray over time which helps it blend in with the environment.
Hand crafted in the USA using Eastern White Pine which provides excellent insulation and durability.

Mounting Suggestion:
You might want to mount your birdhouse over a 4x4 post with our Post Mount option (offered and pictured below).
Habitat: Loves open woodlands and pastures.
Range: Breeds in throughout the West, north from western Alberta and southern British Columbia, south down the West Coast to Baja and east to eastern New Mexico and western Texas. Winters within most of the breeding range.
