Squirrel Peanut Box Feeder provides a food source for squirrels while keeping them away from the bird feeders.
Box is large enough to hold peanuts in the shell. Squirrels have no problem seeing the peanuts through the clear Plexiglas front panel.
To train the squirrels, prop the lid open with a peanut and watch them learn to lift the lid to access the peanuts.
Attach feeder to tree with screws (not included) through the oversized back panel. Another way to mount the feeder is on a 4x4 post with our optional Post Mount (pictured below).
Roof is sloped to keep rainwater out and the hinge allows the lid to swing open for cleaning and filling.
Floor panel extends beyond the front panel providing an al fresco setting for the appreciative squirrels.
Measures 10" high by 5-1/2" wide by 10" deep.
Hand crafted in the USA using Eastern White Pine.
Over time the wood will darken and more naturally blend in with the environment.
