Decorative Hummingbird Feeders

Tempt your neighborhood hummingbirds with the best hummingbird feeders around. Decorative and functional at the same time. Our nautical lighthouse hummingbird feeders would make a great gift for friends or family living on the coast. Celebrate Independence Day with a patriotic flag hummingbird feeder. Our bright red silo country barn hummingbird feeder is sure to attract hungry hummingbirds.

Hummingbird Nectar Recipe

The formula for hummingbird nectar is four parts water to one part white sugar (example: 1 cup water, 1/4 cup sugar). Boil the water and remove from heat. Add sugar (but no red food coloring) and stir to dissolve. Allow the water to cool before filling feeder.

Hang the feeder away from direct sunlight to prevent overheating the nectar.

Also, if possible, bring your hummingbird feeder indoors on extremely cold nights and rehang it as early as possible the next morning. The hummingbirds will need the extra energy after a cold night and thank you for keeping the nectar from freezing.

Leftover nectar may be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days.
