Bat Houses

The pine used in our bat houses is 3/4" thick and provides excellent insulation and protection. Bats will crowd into the house during the day to rest after a night of feasting on insects.

Here you will find the best bats house on the market. Our bat boxes will hold up to 200 bats at one time. Our Sunshine's Bat Houses are offered in two sizes: the large one holds 200 bats and the small version holds 100 bats.

Bat Houses

A highly valuable but misunderstood mammal, healthy bats are a necessity to maintain our environment and ecosystem. Most North American bats are insectivores and will consume anywhere from 3,000 – 7,000 insects nightly.

Each of our bat houses is manufactured with a unique roughened surface which bats can easily cling to.  We take pride in making the best bat boxes; made from Eastern White Pine, solidly constructed for warmth, insulation and durability.  The bat nest boxes are open at the bottom and will need no cleaning and birds will not nest in them.

Because bats need narrow spaces, the multiple partitions inside allow more surface room for roosting bats.

It may take some time for a colony to discover the bats house that you have kindly provided for them. With patience you will be rewarded with dozens of bats using one of the bat boxes for their residence. It may be necessary to close off access to any existing bat resting place (attic, roof, shingles) to encourage the bats to use the house designed for their needs.

Bats work all night to eat the insects around your home, so why not reward them with one of the best bat houses available? Our bat houses are top quality and built to last. Check out our selection of bat boxes and find the appropriate bats house for your property.

Try your hand at building the best bat house yourself with our Bat House Kit; fun and educational for all ages!
